In response to a Group
Challenge.
Skyy had his legs drawn
up and his arms wrapped around them. He let out a long sigh and rested his chin
on his knees as the movie ended. He continued to stare unseeingly at credits
rolling by on the TV screen. A comforting arm embraced him and a soft kiss
landed on the side of his head.
“Man, I’m such a
wimp!” he moaned as he turned to straddle Den’s lap. His tears had silently
flowed throughout most the movie. They still stained his cheeks and spiked his
eyelashes.
“No, you’re not!”
Dennis assured him. “You are a sensitive, compassionate man.”
“Den’s right,
Buddy, and that’s nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about.” Dusty moved
closer to his partners, taking the seat Skyy has just vacated.
“It was so sad. He
was a good man. They shouldn’t have let him die like that, especially not
because of his sexual orientation.”
“Skyy honey, it
was based on a true story. They didn’t have a choice.” Dennis soothingly rubbed
his hands up and down Skyy’s arms.
“Yeah, I know,”
Skyy murmured. He glanced back and forth between his two partners. “I bet I’m
going to think of it every time I have a drink of milk.”
“Probably,” the
other two men agreed simultaneously. Both smiled with doting affection at the
flustered man they were holding.
Dennis put a hand
on each side of his youngest Brat’s face and gently whipped away the tears with
his thumbs. “Think you can handle it?”
“Yeah,” Skyy
nodded although he wasn’t overly confident about doing so. “I’ll just try to
concentrate on the happier times. You know; the victories and not the losses.”
“Good idea, Sport”
Dennis encouraged while Dusty added, “Sounds like a plan, little buddy.” They
firmly embraced their young lover as each one lovingly kiss a still damp cheek.
